Betar is a a non-profit, volunteer Zionist youth movement for chanichim (kids) aged 7-18. The movement is run by madrichim (leaders) ages 16-22. Over the past 50 years, Betar Queensland has united the Jewish youth at camps, functions and seminars. Betar provides an informal education on Israel, Judaism and Betar ideology as well as enourmous fun! Betar holds three camps per year and regular Sunday functions. Betar Queensland operates in
Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Byron Bay area and is a branch of Betar Australia Inc.
